We bemoan the quality of our relationships in the age of social media, but look around. It’s so difficult for us to distance ourselves from one another -- in space, in our decisions.

This is how connected we’ve always been. Do you see how many lives your decisions touch?

Of course, the physical world is different from the relational one. But, what if the mere number of people your actions reach were a proxy for the connection that’s possible at this particular moment in space and time?

We see threadbare, but today shows us something quite different -- just how woven into one another we are.
